Theme Learning Question:

What is special about me and my family?

Curriculum Coverage:

 In Phonics, we follow the Read Write Inc programme to teach reading and writing. This term we will focus on the set 1 sounds. Practise sheets and words will be sent home to practise reading and writing the new sounds covered that week.

In Maths, we will be focusing on counting reliably and number recognition to 10.

Our theme focus this half term is ‘Magnificent Me’ in which the children will be learning about what makes them unique, how their bodies work, where they live and their 5 senses. 

In RE, we are looking at different Bible stories and thinking about what we are thankful for.
