Charity Updates for the Autumn Term! Awesome!

Charity Updates for the Autumn Term! Awesome!

THANK YOU so much for supporting our 2017 Harvest Appeal.
Our cow banks were filled and smoothies devoured and we raised £418.40 for Send a Cow.

Send a Cow tell us that just £210 will help provide seeds, tools and training for SEVEN families in Africa!
With seeds , tools and training and even livestock , provided by people in the UK, Send a Cow are teaching families how to farm their land so that they have nutritious vegetables to eat, milk to drink and the skills to leave poverty and hunger behind.

The Send a Cow process involves ‘passing-on’.

This means that the first female calf of every cow is given to another poor family.
In turn, when their cow has its first calf, they will do the same. This way, the gift goes on multiplying and making this development sustainable. Training is also passed on to other members of the community so that they can learn to grow more vegetables too.

We raised a whopping £60.60 for the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.

Without your help they would be unable to continue their vital welfare and benevolent work.

A big THANK YOU goes to everyone who helped us to raise money in support of Children in Need.  Together, so far, we have managed to raise £236.60 whilst having a great time dressing up in our spots or superhero outfits!

Our Christmas lunch day was enhanced by staff and children donning festive Christmas jumpers and once again having fun for a good cause.

We were able to donate £327 to Save the Children. Each jumper worn could have made the difference between a hot meal and no meal. It could support essential healthcare,

education and protection from disease.

Our Autumn Term Total was an awesome £1042.6
