Dear Parents/ Carers

Harvest Festival Service 2018.

Our Harvest Festival was on Friday 26th October and Reverend Lisa led our prayers and blessing which made it really special for us all.

In conjunction with St. Paul’s Church we will be supporting the Bridge Project in Loughborough and making contributions to their food banks.

The children learnt about bible stories linked to harvests or foods and what they mean to us today. They also learnt about where we can find these stories in the bible and who wrote them.

Many Thanks for your huge support and generosity.

This thank you was received from the Bridge Project this week.

On behalf of all the staff, volunteers and clients of the Bridge, may I please extend my sincere thanks for the generous food donation received following St Pauls School Harvest Festival.

In 2017, donations like yours helped contribute to the successful delivery of 300+ food parcels.

We have many people walk through our doors desperate for items that many of us take for granted, and so donations such as these are imperative to make the lives of these people a little better.

To paint a picture of the crisis we are in, in 2017 our Homeless Transitions Service alone rehoused in excess of 150 people within our local community, whilst hundreds of other homeless people were supported across our different services.

If you would like any further information on the services we provide for homeless and vulnerable people, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you again for your kind generosity and choosing to benefactor The Bridge (East Midlands).

Your Faithfully,

Peter Davey

Chief Officer

Many thanks
