Rt. Hon Nick Gibb's Letter to St. Pauls

France - Day 1 The journey to a foreign land....

We set off bright and early with big smiles!

The coach journey was exciting, we travelled over Queen Victoria Bridge and saw the White Cliffs of Dover.

We made great time and got an earlier ferry where we enjoyed our lunch, played games and safely explored on the top deck. Some of us, inspired by the sight of waves crashing and the White Ciffs of Dover behind us, felt patriotic and spontaneously burst into The National Anthem! Amazing Brtisih Values on display for all to see!

When we arrived at the Chateau, there was a big gasp at how beautiful our accomodation was. Our rooms are huge!

We enjoyed settling in and made our way to dinner where we enjoyed a feast and some delicious brownies.

Now we are settling into our rooms and getting ready for bed and an exciting adventure in Boulogne tomorrow.

Check in with us tomorrow.
